Highlighted by overflow crowds and fantastic singing performances, KaraokeFest 2012 has now passed into Karaoke history. But WOW, what a day…the best KaraokeFest ever!

The huge crowd was treated to an exciting day of fabulous singing and entertainment! The children in the Creme de la Kids contest performed just about every genre of song from Rock to Country to Show Tunes. The Creme de la King competitors were next resurrecting the memory of Elvis in grand style as they performed with their elaborate and colorful costumes with exciting renditions of some of the King’s most popular songs. And, of course, the adults in the Creme de la Creme Finals rocked the Plaza de las Americas Stage for nearly 5 hours with terrific, concert quality performances.

Special thanks to Marshall Thomas of KFROG 95.1 FM for another fine job of hosting the Creme de la Creme Finals Competition again this year. Thanks also to our good friend, Manny Pacheco, the best event emcee that anyone could ask for. And in his 3rd year at KaraokeFest, the popular host of “What’s Up Orange County,” Scott Stewart, hosted the Creme de la Kids Final Competition. Thank you, Scott for another excellent job! And new this year, the multi-talented Steven Williamson did the hosting honors for the Crème de la King Finals, and what a job he did! Also our sincere thanks go to Creme de la Kids coordinator, Candice Worl and to Creme de la King Coordinator, Tony Christina, for their extraordinary efforts in making the dream come true for all of their talented contestants.
