Jerry: Hi Brad...I left you a comment that I removed as I later thought it might be inappropriate even though it was intended to be in fun. SO, my amended comment is this: A great song selection and your terrific vocal is so sincere as to really 'sell' the song! Great job. Your lovely lady looks so happy dancing with you...so, you must be a terrific guy! :-) Much enjoyed this buddy!
Reply: Hey Jerry. I do appreciate your very kind words my friend. She is lovely isn't she. We are both very happy together and from both of us, Thanks again....Brad |

Jerry: I listened to this great duet. Too, I'm sorry to learn of your father's early passing. From your comment, he must have been a wonderful father and artist. I caught the NBC news about Tony having dementia that's getting worse since 2016. Well, we are losing all the great crooners, jazz artists and pop singers. Not sure what we have left that can replace them...NONE. You and Don sound so well matched and in partnership on in the duet. It's wonderfully sang and mixed with the warmest voices. Just excellent work. I do a couple of Bennett's songs (What are you afraid of; and, I left my heart in San Francisco). He's a vocalist, person and artistic painter. You've done him proud with this most lovely recording!
Reply: Thank you so much for coming by, Jerry. I have always thought of Tony Bennett as one of the good ones. Always smiling always dedicated to entertaining his audience. He is a very talented artist and a very special man. It's sad. Thank you for the wonderful comment. I fear I am more like my mom than my dad. LOL! You really are so sweet to me. I really do appreciate it so so much. You are the bomb!! Don't Change!! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam |

Jerry: Love this song and your beautiful recording Ed. I've sung the FS arrangement for years...it's a jazzy and faster arrangement...I like yours much better. Great singing with much feeling and wonderful mix.

Jerry: It's way late for you buddy...but then the good times never really started for you, sadly. Did you pass gas in several places of this song, if so get back from the mic please! Man, there it is again. Well, this song really perked me up with wild joy, happiness and positive thinking. There's that gas again! I think I might celebrate my joy now with my Glock 40 cal. out back in the trees. This would have been good if it wasn't so bad...but, it's good in a 'round there' sort of way. I need a drink....
Reply: That gassey sound is my new trombone that m learning to play. That is the only note I’ve learned so far but I really like it. It works good in this song. Gotta go, passed my bedtime. Thanks and sweet dreams sweetie. |

Jerry: Hey, are you the 'drug store' cowboy type? Or, the real deal with bow legs, a bad back and taking bathes every other week? LOL Terrific song and sing here Wild Brad Hickock. Love this classic oldie!
Reply: No drug store but hat does come in handy to keep mic dry when doing a recording session in the shower. No bow in the legs, my mustang was a 351 with comfy seats and Thrush Outsiders that would scare any of your ponys just by purring. Thanks for listening my friend. |

Jerry: I'm regretting his loss (our loss) and had wondered why he no longer posted songs. He was a great talent, far better than a Karaoke singer. I often thought he could have/should have been on record label. Some here asked to duet with him and he (to my knowledge) seemed to always accommodate. It's so hard to lose a friend and family member, yet we all have that appointment on a calendar somewhere down the line. I always remember: Life IS short; Death IS certain for all; and God IS good!
Reply: Thank you so much for your insight and kind words Jerry. He was lead singer in a traveling band for years and recorded a great many of his songs. Posted to Reverb Nation...sold some CDs I'm told...He enjoyed meeting new people as a Karaoke DJ...had a huge following here in S Mississippi... wonderful caring unselfish man...Thanks for your uplifting words. Truly appreciate your kindness...Abby |

Jerry: You are right...that beat is so very attractive and pleasant to the ear. This is your best recording of all I've enjoyed from you. A top shelf sing for you, cool song and a great mix too. It's like Ragu says about its sauce: It's all in there!
Reply: Wow, thanks Jerry. It's-a spicy song-a! -- Donn |
