Billy Hughes has passed away ...Two months of fighting heart disease and pneumonia ..... He submitted songs here for many years. I think using Max as his name... I met him 3 yrs ago. .a Karaoke DJ . He created a Karaoke system for me which greatly increased my confidence...and was a great singing inspiration for me and my daughters .. A great friend ..singer....mentor...he lead me to recording and to this wonderful site here so I would keep singing during Covid ...I will always be grateful to him for taking an interest in my happiness... I am posting one of his songs ..I'm sure you will recognize him...he was an awesome singer ..and I think he did several duets with a few of you.. Sweet Billy Hughes .I will miss you.. We had been online friends for about 18 years. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. RIP Billy. He was a great talent, far better than a Karaoke singer. I often thought he could have/should have been on record label. Some here asked to duet with him and he (to my knowledge) seemed to always accommodate. It's so hard to lose a friend and family member, yet we all have that appointment on a calendar somewhere down the line. I always remember: Life IS short; Death IS certain for all; and God IS good! Posted to Reverb Nation...sold some CDs I'm told...He enjoyed meeting new people as a Karaoke DJ...had a huge following here in S Mississippi... wonderful caring unselfish man...Thanks for your uplifting words.
