Wow, this is really cool. Outstanding! Very fun and lively. This would be fun for live karaoke, too. You really put a lot of personality into this (as one should for Louis Prima songs). You have me tappin' my toes! |

My very good friend, Floyd Dakil, was Prima's guitarist and band leader for several years. He Louis and his wife were the best people on and off stage. Floyd was the consummate artist...check out one of his songs on YT, Dance Franny Dance from the 1960's....he was on the Dick Clarke show and had his own show for over 25-years in Las Vegas. He's passed on now and I miss him. Well, what does that have to do your superb performance you ask...He would have loved your cover of this song. It's superb! |
