This was a big hit in the US in the 80's, back when I was in college.. later they came out with the English version, also a hit, but I prefer the original. Hope you enjoy it. Please do give me honest criticism, I won't mind! Now, you would think that the German is the main problem with this song, but it's not. It's singing the German words very fast, and trying to sound like the original singer, and trying not to sound like I'm tripping over the words! :) I have been working on it for years, hopefully this is the best I will do for a while... |

I heard both versions and LOVE them BOTH... I would have to take on the Enligh version since I could not speak another language (I can count to 10 in spanish... but try to remember anything else is difficult for me...lol). Awesome and well performed rendition Suzanne!!! Loved every bouncy and/or electro sounding second. |

Hi Suzanne,
Well, girl, I don't know but a few words in Germain so I can't offer an honest criticism on how good your Gremain is but I can say with absolute certainty that your vocals remained in control, relative to timing and pitch, througout the song, which I am familiar with (melody, to be precise. This was an awesome rendition - enjoyed my listen very much. TC.

Hi Suzanne..In the UK this was covered in English (maybe you can look it up on youtube) by Kim Wilde daughter of Pop singer of the 50's Marty Wilde.....Great listen...Vic |
