I use a lot of VR backings, myself, when I can't find a good karaoke/instrumental track (I use MTU's Vogone program), and don't usually have the luck you do with the process. Excellent work! John Reply: John, thanks. VR all depends on how the original recording was recorded. Lots of more recent stuff has echo throughout the musical range and leaves vocal artifacts as a result. The best VR is done on vocals with limited echo and the vocal center-panned (as it is put).
