Dinah Washington won a Grammy Award in 1959 for Best Rhythm and Blues Performance with this song. Her version was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998. This arrangement is by Jamie Cullum and is a more modern jazz take.

Reply: Hello Mark and thanks for the listen and what a cool comment. You know I believe you should challenge your vocals in lower ranges as much as you do in the higher ones. I find it harder to hold pitch in low range and find my studio time longer due to added takes. The song "Daisy Jane" by America just might be the hardest song I have ever recorded, simply because it must be sung with very limited power and it's in a lower key than I am comfortable with.
