Gave a couple examples, one Rock, and one country. The effects I use on country songs are much less than for Rock songs. This track was not run through a final mastering plugin like i normally use to finalize my recordings to prevent vocal removal. I use a usb mic in my laptop with old recording software. Reply: yes it is interesting how people use different methods. as long as you get the results you want then all is good, and yours is always excellent!!! I am using digital effects with software and it is extremely difficult to get that "live" sound and balance the digital effects because I am mastering with headphones. Sometimes I have to do a lot of adjustment when I burn a CD and play it in my truck or over a stereo system...music has to be able to sound good across a wide spectrum of devices. But my software does have a digital Roland boss effects module but I never tried it. I will have to check that out... Reply: I use headphones as well. This mic just wont work on a pa system as it is so sensitive. But running it through my pc sound card with realtek set to stereo mix works great using headphones. Thanks buddy for the input :)
