Hi Pam.. My 1st time hearing this and it definitely has a Gospel feel to it. I only saw the original Hairspray movie and lost interest on the sequel. A very heartfelt performance with a strong ending and there are some folks I would like to tell where to go and many of us feel like we've been through there but that's another conversation!

I know this because I heard at the musical "HairSpray", but it feels so much more like a Gospel song to me. Contrary to Ruth, who knows where she is going, I know where I have been!! LOL! I recorded this when my daughters took me to see the Musical Hairspray and some of you may remember it from then it was in 2012. I wanted to do some work on the mix, but was unable to find the session folder. So here it is with all it's original warts! They kinda grow on you after a while. Thank you all for listening.
