KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Cantstopsinging performs To Know Him Is To Love Him on Karaoke Showcase - I finally found a backtrack for this memorable song with no backups so I could work on all of them. "To Know Him Is to Love Him" is a song written by Phil Spector, inspired by words on his father's tombstone, "To Know Him Was to Love Him." It was first recorded by the only vocal group of which he was a member, the Teddy Bears. Their recording spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958, while reaching No. 2 on the UK's New Musical Express chart Thank you from me and 'The Social-lites' Have a peaceful, easy weekend

mav2100 OMG Sister Joyce, This is so beautiful. Personally I think it would be even greater a' cappella!!! The Lovely Social-Lites have done it again!!! They are giving me goosebumps all over and it's like a thousand degrees in Chicago today! This is absolutely perfect in every way! You are amazing Joyce! The time and dedication you put into you music makes everything so wonderful. Of course this one will be on the playlist like all my pther Joyceriffic songs! This is one of your very best if not your best ever. I do believe you were born too late, Sis. You would have been Star in the 50's and 60's. With your looks and talent. Of course I think the quality of your movies would be better now with those Social-Lites behind you same dress different colors like a Sring wedding from the sixties. I love this!! Fabulous song, Fabulous Sing!! Never stop singing Joyce. Standing Ovation From Chicago!! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam
Reply: Hey Sister Pam...I am so glad you enjoyed this so much and the Social-Lites are jumping up and down...I appreciate you more than you know!! BIG THANKS

Jerry Oh, yes this is so true of me...LOL This is a one of my favorite 'oldies' but I didn't know the group's name until now. And, I didn't know it dated back to 1958 as I knew it in the 1960's someplace. You've sung this perfect...truly this could have been yours and the other 'yours' too back in that day. Love this one indeed!
Reply: Hi Jerry.. As long as I didn't have to deal with Phil Spector. Thanks so very much from me and me and another me!
