I recorded this song a couple months ago for Brad's "BABY" challenge, but never posted it. It is a Boyce & Hart song from the 60's, also recorded by Trini Lopez in 1969. I am doing the Boyce * Hart version which has more of that funky late 60's pop style to it! Boyce & Hart wrote lots of songs back then including Pretty Little Angel Eyes, Come A Little Bit Closer, Last Train To Clarksville, and many more.
This is kind of an oddball type song but was fun to sing..

You've caught me again...I don't recall this song at all. BUT while it is way cool and with clever lyrics and beat, YOU are the winner. Outstanding vocals and lyrical delivery Mr. Rich. You find all the rare songs I haven't found, Rich. Boyce and Hart were great songwriters. This was a new one for me and it had that very late 60's feel to it.. Trippy tune that I enjoyed hearing from you |
