(search Frank Zappa on The Steve Allen Show March 4, 1963) on YouTube. "Cosmik Debris" is a song by American composer Frank Zappa, from his 1974 album Apostrophe ('). It concerns the Mystery Man, a typical guru or psychic, offering to help the narrator reach Nervanna [sic] for a "nominal service charge," and the narrator's refusal to buy into his act, "Look here, brother, who you jiving with that cosmik debris?" When the Mystery Man gets pushy, Zappa as the narrator tells how he snatched the crystal ball, hypnotized the Mystery Man, stole his stuff and blew his mind.

Starlyter - Brad Hmmm. Wrap in slow mo! I always wondered how it evolved? Recorded on 33LP and played at 45 rpm. NO? Oh well. (LOL). Very cool sound Rik. I think I need another brew to take it all in though. Great performance my friend....Brad
Reply: LOL Brad, rap in slo-mo. Thanks my friend.

Rich101 Hey there Rik!!! Totally narley song and performance... This sounds like it was a really fun song to perform! Your did a beyond excellent performance here!! Loved listening to you this afternoon..RICH
Reply: Hi Rich, thanks for listening. I'm anxious to see what feedback this will bring. I'm sure that the majority of the KS population are familiar with the name Zappa so it should be interesting indeed. Zappa is one of those artists that you either love or hate, no in between for most. I considered him a genius beyond genius's, a musical deity to say the least. I saw him live 12 times and his death was tragic on many levels.
