Been awhile since hearing this.. I remember the Feminists back then getting angry calling this song chauvinistic! It's such a lovely song and I am glad to hear you and Pam sing it.Joyce |

I remember reading something of the controversy but then again, I was more interested in the music side of it rather than worrying about the bra-burning feminists of yesteryear and what they thought of a it. And no, I don't consider myself a chauvinist by any stretch of the word. The lyric message, although catching my eye a bit during learning the song, was actually pretty tame compared to some of the lyrics of today.
