It's new to me...must have been a west coast song. It's such a cool song and I hear some 'Joyce passion' in the phrasing. I've not heard of the group either. It's such a wonderful and typical sound from the 1960'S. Love it and esp. your vocals.....it belongs up the ladder to the highest Top Shelf. |
Reply: Hey Jerry.. It's a feel good song, imo and no it wasn't a West Coast song but the band was from the West Coast. I was living in Boston at the time, hearing this one on the radio. There's some clips of the group on youtube singing this on American Bandstand. They had a female drummer too!!! This was their only song to chart. Thanks from me and the Social-Lites!! |
