We've been without heat or Wifi for the past two days. Rolling blackouts in Texas due to 1 degree temps. I'll have to catch up with everyone in a day or two. Freezing rain and more snow tomorrow and Thursday. Grocery stores are closed, fast food is closed....I'm eating crackers and cheese and wearing lots of layers of clothing. This WiFi connect may drop at any second. This is a screw up on the power....Chi and Detroit both do better than this. I hope everyon is well and good.... |

Reply: The whole of Dallas-Ft. Worth is home...nothing open. Can't get there anyway...more snow with ice last night. 4+ million without sustaining heat. Pipes are breaking everywhere, flooding homes and businesses. Not above freezing till Saturday....7-9 degrees below zero for hours. THIS IS TEXAS? Ha...Thanks much pal! |

Jerry.. Well, you were able to upload this delightful song so that's a good thing..This was a heartwarming vocal.. Wish I could send you some sunshine. Just think though- this miserable weather won't last as long as the Pandemic.. Keep that in mind. I think Chicago and Detroit have nastier weather to begin with than where you are so maybe better equipped!! Take care |
Reply: Hi Joyce..my internet is staying on now...for a few hours. I expect it to go again. Electricity and rolled off for 12 hours and back on for less that 90 minutes at a time. Wearing tons of clothes...water pipes breaking in homes and businesses. Nothing is open...Few dare try to the roads...full of snow and ice. OK, About the song. thank you so much...got any couch room in LA for a couple of nites? LOL This is Texas? LOL |

Jerry...while sitting in a Cracker Barrell close to the fireplace...a precious 5 yr old little girl told me a "secret" as she said...if you wear your pj's under your clothes you will be warmer and no one will ever know.....:). Loved your rendition of this beautiful song....Hope the power comes back on soon for you.....Abby |
