It all started on the first of the month when I noticed how decorations in my home town have taken on a whole new meaning for me. It seems that despite the hardships and woe in the world, people are trying to keep the Christmas Spirit alive. The colors are so vivid and the LED lights are so bright! It really is a beautiful and colorful time of year. It has really warmed my heart, after months of Dog Eat Dog being the “New Norm”. This is how the “Color My Christmas” Challenge was conceived. The concept is simple, sub any song with a color in the title, there are well over a thousand. You can also submit a song with the word color in the title. I know you all have some color songs tucked away in the drawer, under the bed or hanging in the back of the closet. This is going to be so much fun. I will let this one go as long as it will. So come and join the party!! There is plenty to eat and drink. Abby Gail donated silver bells with names engraved on them to decorate our tree. There are cookies and Eggnog near the entrance. There are three bars, the most popular being the Tiki Bar because Rich Our Very own Music Guru, is the Master Bartender and Mixologist as well!! He invents drinks for every colorful song subbed. What A Man!! We have the entire island to ourselves so there is a stage right in the middle. So when you want to sing one just hop right up there. Do be careful of the “Random Mistletoe” hung everywhere. I am not sure who decorated this place there is way too much!! LOL! I still need to get my kisses for Christmas. Okay here we go I found this one in my archives. It is originally from an amazing artist who is gone too soon. What a Loss to the music community. I thought I would add a little something to the Black Tune category. This is sub number 76 of the challenge and our 6th Silver tune. I did this one a while ago. Thank you all for your enthusiasm on this challenge, whether subbing, or commenting you are making this the best party place to be at. I am having so much fun. You all rock!! I said that once to a woman...man, was I quickly embarrassed! LOL Rich truly is a MASTER barkeep, barman, bar chef, tapster, mixologist, alcohol server, cocktologist, flairman and alcohol chef. And, he takes in laundry too! I wonder what wines Amie is serving at her house tonight? A great song selection for the challenge and an outstanding vocal delivery Pam.
