I remember about 4 months ago you subbed your version of this song as we were all so tired of "LOCK-DOWN"!! We are still practically on Lock-down and we are even more tired of it! It's definitely time to start our ROAD TRIP, Rich. Do you want to start in Los Angeles, while I start in Chicago and we can meet in Amarillo? Or shall we just travel together Departing from Chi-town and taking that scenic route all the way to L.A.? We can while there, visit Joyce and have some home-made cookies and tea. I bet you want to meet the Social-lites as much as I do. They are real party animals!! So, This one is for you Rich!! Thank you for all the fabulous comments and smiles you bring to us all. Thank you all for listening. We will update out itinerary just in case anyone wants to be picked up along the way! Oh we will have to choreograph a dace for the long instrumental bridge. We will call it the "Road-trip Boogie"!! Love yas, Mwahhhhhhhhhhh, Pam P.S. I am sorry I have not been around a couple days, but I have been been babysitting the most amazing little boy in the world, my grandson, Nico. It's so much fun, but exhausting. I will be here later. |

MAV-PAM: You are indeed the most versatile singer here. St Louis is the grandchild capital of RT66, (Did you know?). Famous Ted Drewes Frozen custard stand is the Historic child delight.
DON'T MISS MY RECENT SUB-DEDICATED TO DON.

Reply: Hello Petey!! Thank you so much for stopping in and for that great comment. Thank you too for remembering Don on your sub. It was the sweetest thing I ever heard. I sent you a message in the forum. Please check your inbox and get back to me. Thank you again for the visit and the sweet comment. You are the best and I am so happy you're back! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam |

I have traveled most of the length of 66 except for the two ends (IL and CA). Very 50s ish in most areas back when I did that. Now if I had my PAM Cassette back then, my trip would have been a total success. Super sing my friend. Enjoyed taking the ride with you from Chi-Town to LA:) ...Brad |
Reply: If you come meet me in Chicago we can sing duets all the way to Amarillo there we are going to have a party! Woooo hoooo!! Sweet Brad & I doing the road trip. Everyone is gonna be there. Thank you so much for stopping in and for your great comment Sweet Brad. You always make me feel so good!! Thank you for being you! I appreciate you so much, Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam |

Love this song I’ve done the Asleep at the Wheel version a bunch. There’s is a country swing version. You sound right at home singing this one. I’ve met several people from the old SS. What a blast. Great sing Pam, enjoyed it. |
Reply: Thank you so much for coming by and for the great comment. This is a great song and everyone should have a go at it. I have met a few people from here, but not nearly enough. There are a few that are not too far away, I just never got to meet them. I would love to hear your version of "Route 66" I bet it's fabulous. You always rock everything you sing! I really do appreciate you and all you do around here. You are da Bomb!! Shall we pick you up along the way? LOL! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam |
