The song (released in 2011) was written about the love affair between the characters Edward and Bella from The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn.The YouTube video has over 1.5 billion views, top-90 most-viewed YouTube videos. The single is 7-times certified platinum and Perri's her second top 40 hit. She taught herself how to play guitar as a 16-year-old by watching a videotape of Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon. Boyce Avenue is an American pop and rock band formed in Sarasota, Florida, by brothers Alejandro Manzano, Daniel Manzano, and Fabian Manzano. I just saw Twilight for the 1st time and turned it off after 20 minutes.. I didn't know this song was connected to it till recently.. You've introduced me to this alternate version which is more challenging than the Perri version, at least to my ears and you successfully pursued it.. Thanks for asking me in on this..
