If you want a DRPA alternative, the Behringer product is their DCX2496. It's about $299 MAP if I remember correctly. I own one DCX2496 and two DRPAs. I like the DCX better and will eventually replace the DRPAs with DCXs.

hi,
I've checked out the DCX in the web and find that it's probably the other half of the DRPA not found in the DSP8024. The thing is I'm more interested in the Auto-EQ (RTA) and the AFS function fo the DRPA cause I currently only use a pair for the FOH. Was keen to get a faster way to EQ for my events as the venues I normally get are really not PA friendly.
Any advise on the DSP8024 or is there any similar product that does the same thing?
Thanks

The DEQ2496 is their current product with an RTA mic option, but it does not include the crossover, etc. functionality of the DCX. If you want both feature sets, a DRPA+ is probably the least expensive option.

I'll start looking into the DRPA+ then.

Hope it doesn't end up like my attempts at Ragdoll Archers - all over the place with no accuracy. Anyone have actual experience? Wondering if the cost saving is worth it, or if I should just bite the bullet for the full DRPA. Thanks for any insights!

It felt like traversing a slippery Slope of audio imbalances.

Hello from the ether! Navigating the labyrinth of budget tech, a DRPA alternative sparks my curiosity like a flickering neon sign in a digital desert. Is this device a hidden gem or a silicon mirage?
