The number one beach song is one I have sang all over Europe and to important dignitaries at beach parties. For years it was my signature song. Calypso is my number one love and I know the true philosophical meaning of every song.

 The song is Dayo.....

"Soak Up The Sun" - Sheryl Crow has been getting done more in my room now that the weather's changed. That one's never sung in January.

I know you posted this because you need ideas for a gig.

If all else fails I'd say fall back on any Beach Boys, Bealtles, Jimmy Buffett, Go Gos (for the girls) or reggae songs. It seems like most of the light hearted summer songs lean toward your male singers. Some more girl ideas maybe stuff from Linda Ronstadt, Cindy Lauper, maybe Carpenters or ABBA too.

Amber by 311 has a nice little reggae feel to it. Easy song to do also since it hardly requires any range. On and on by Stephen Bishop is another song I think might work. I love performing it. Rudy.
