What’s New Jun 2005
KaraokeFest 2005 is now “in the books” and what a day is was! The thousands in attendance at Knott’s Berry Farm got to participate in all of the “Fest” events; the 7 Karaoke stages located throughout the park, the Karaoke Expo and, of course, the main show in the Charles Schulz Theater.

Kudos to our Karaoke Scene staff for all their hard work and diligence in order to make this year’s KaraokeFest a success. You are what makes this event happen and we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of you. And another huge thank you goes to Shawn Parr and Manny Pacheco for hosting the main show. They really made it happen.
Thanks also to the folks who hosted the 7 Karaoke stages throughout the park including: VocoPro, Ace Karaoke, Martini Blues, D & D Productions, Starlight Karaoke, Cherry Sound and Energy Entertainment. You certainly made it a very special day for everybody.
Congratulations to all of the Golden Achievement Award winners. You will find a complete list of the winners on page 10. Congratulations also to the Male and Female Karaoke Vocalists of the Year, Kevin Wood and Penny Bailey. Their performances were sensational and we are proud to have you as representatives of the best of the best (Crème de la Crème) in Southern California Karaoke. Kevin and Penny were also fabulous on the Mark & Brian Show, broadcast on Tuesday, May 24th. They sang live on the air (at 9 in the morning I might add) and sounded terrific!
