What’s New Aug 2003
Well it’s summer again and Karaoke remains hot…hot…hot! New Karaoke venues are sprouting up all over the place and the list of new and innovative Karaoke hardware and software products continues to grow as does the demand for these products. Of course, we’ll keep you updated on all of these things.
We would like to welcome you to the first in the nation internet radio show solely dedicated to the universal phenomenon of Karaoke. We hope to provide a show that will be both entertaining and informative, a virtual meeting place for what’s happening in the world of Karaoke. The show is called “That’s Karaoke” and it will be laced with humor, satire and fun (mostly fun). More specifically, planned segments will include the latest Karaoke product information (hardware & software), discussion and analysis of some of the more significant Karaoke events, showcasing of outstanding (or humorous or peculiar) Karaoke artists, telephone and “man on the street” interviews with interesting Karaoke personalities, original comedic characters, perhaps some taped segments from visits to selected Karaoke venues and much, much more!

And now a new event for everybody to enjoy, the 2003 edition of the Pilsner Urquell “Original Music Experience” begins here in Southern California in August and winds up in Northern California in October encompassing all points in between covering an estimated 75 venues throughout the state. This is the event where all you have to do is visit one of the event sites, sing your song, and receive a free CD of your performance. Of course you can sample some Pilsner Urquell premium beer while you’re at it. For those of you who may not know, Pilsner Urquell is now a member of the Miller Brewing Company family of fine beers. It is a premium European beer famous in many parts of the world and now making its presence known here in the states. The event is fun…fun…fun for all! And as always, Pilsner Urquell urges you to drink responsibly.
