I have probably asked this before, but apparently I didn't get an answer or just did't understand the answer. How do I go about donating some points? - Tonya

Click donate, and a window will pop up. Type the name of the person you want to donate the points to. Fill in the amount of points and you are done . Press, submit

look on your post, on the left side. You'll see your points and the link on the word "donate".
It took me a long time to figure that out myself... as I was looking everywhere for a link. And there it was, right under my nose.

You will not see Donate under your own post, you will however see it in other people post, just next to Points.

If there's not a 'donate' under my name, how can I donate without it....do I find someone with the donate under their name and do it that way? - Tonya

You donate to someone , you can't donate to yourself. It does not matter under whose post you click the Donate because you will still need to typed in the person name when the donate window pop up. Try and click the donate under my name, and you will get a donate window with your name fill up. delete that and replaced it with the name of the person you want the points to be given.
