Are there even that many in operation now?

I don't know of any U.S. manufacturer that still offers discs. Most of them are out of business or have gone to downloads only.

I don't think the OP meant "only" US manufacturers, I think he means "all". But still, are there even 10 companies still producing in existence?

I cannot come up with ten either... and even with those that I do use, it's getting more and more difficult to find material for my clientele who tend towards country and pop as opposed to RAP/Hip Hop and hard rock. My "go to" is Karaoke Version. I also have PartyTyme, Mr. Entertainer and SBI in my website favorites, but haven't used them for quite a while.

There's 10. Now out of those - I wouldn't put any on top of another really, they all have their good and bad - but mostly good these days. Some have exclusive to them tracks.
That said, SBI/Sunfly/Mr Entertainer/Abraxa/Aaron Ardvark (even Digitrax often) all use the same music these days.

zoom does have tracks available in the US now.
if you go to their site and check the box at the top say "only show me tracks available in my country" it will show you what you can actually buy here.
i just learned this myself
researching more... it also appears to incluide the album downloads like the pop picks album 2020.

Nope, was a temporary glitch while they were working on their website. All blocked again as of today, even the tracks I bought yesterday are restricted again.

Take a trip to the UK, get a busty girlfriend there (there are many), download songs from Sunfly, Zoom, Mr Entertainer, Abraxa, SBI, get on Select A Track, etc., anything that can not be downloaded off KV (my 1st go to) then write the cost of the entire trip off and have your out of the States bosom buddy download and send other tracks to you. Oh, and then she comes to the States for some really exciting times! It's what I'm doin'.

I just have a friend that lives over there and I send her custom disc requests that she orders for me and sends to me. Downloads aren't legal for anyone to actually transfer from one person to another. This was I have the actual disc too. Plus there is a lot more available via custom disc.
