Excellent choice of material, Dusty! Your voice was made for this song. But...this is the third time I've noticed this, so I better tip you off -- It takes you about 5 seconds to really get into the song. After that, you're THERE! I suggest routinely going back to the beginning when you finish a song and rework the first few words. It's a common syndrome. It also helps to warm your voice up over the musical intro of the song and then delete that part in the edit. If you do that, you will be THERE when you sing the first few words of the song. |
