It is sad that places like TIK die like Little Mom & Pop stores where people stop shopping because the new Big store came to town & the Little store goes out of business due to lack of support. Great song & sing, enjoyed very much!! |

What? TIK is now down? I didn't know that!! Interesting that they're still trying to charge me fees, and I quit them about a year ago now. Zowie...they were going great guns a couple years ago and I guess hit the wall finally. Meanwhile, here we are LB...And your song soars! Old or not, your recording is incredible. Chris |

I was unaware of the payment woes you had been experiencing with TIK, I did wonder if that's why you'd change your username from time to time. I was actually just about to renew my subs for the site... looks like a lucky escape. Of course, there have been many times we all thought the site was gone for good and it resurfaced... mind you, it was never down THIS long previously... |

Well Done, Beautiful Voice too! This song is a lot like Puff the Magic Dragon.
Almost like by the same artist, though I'm sure it's not! Really enjoyed your singing and hope to listen to you again. |

I hadn't thought of this being like "Puff the magic dragon" - not sure who originally sung that but I remember as a kid listening to the Nina & Frederik version. As for this song, it was written and originally performed by Peter Sarstedt, who we lost at the start of this year. The track I used is based on a cover by an Irish country/western artist, hence the extra accordions! |
