Trex It is sad that places like TIK die like Little Mom & Pop stores where people stop shopping because the new Big store came to town & the Little store goes out of business due to lack of support. Great song & sing, enjoyed very much!!
Reply: Thank you very much for the listen and comment. TIK is back online after an eternity... it's very precarious but it's just about there. Definitely not through lack of support..

Jerry A totally new song to me...and, I love it LB. Your sound is so clear, warm and inviting while painting a beautiful lyrical picture. Excellent buddy!
Reply: Thank you very much for your listen Jerry. Peter Sarstedt had a huge hit with this in the UK in 1969, but I'm not sure how well it is known your side of the pond. Glad you liked my version though.

chrisdanielz What? TIK is now down? I didn't know that!! Interesting that they're still trying to charge me fees, and I quit them about a year ago now. Zowie...they were going great guns a couple years ago and I guess hit the wall finally. Meanwhile, here we are LB...And your song soars! Old or not, your recording is incredible. Chris
Reply: Thank you so much Chris for the listen and kind words. I was unaware of the payment woes you had been experiencing with TIK, I did wonder if that's why you'd change your username from time to time. I was actually just about to renew my subs for the site... looks like a lucky escape. Of course, there have been many times we all thought the site was gone for good and it resurfaced... mind you, it was never down THIS long previously...

LSS40 Your rendition is really well done and enjoyed by me very much! Yes, it's been days since I could get on TIK! Lee
Reply: Thank you very much for stopping by to listen and tell me so Lee. Yes, TIK has been down all of this week so one does wonder if the bell hath tolled for the site.

Warrenkel16 Well Done, Beautiful Voice too! This song is a lot like Puff the Magic Dragon. Almost like by the same artist, though I'm sure it's not! Really enjoyed your singing and hope to listen to you again.
Reply: Thank you very much for your listen and comment. I hadn't thought of this being like "Puff the magic dragon" - not sure who originally sung that but I remember as a kid listening to the Nina & Frederik version. As for this song, it was written and originally performed by Peter Sarstedt, who we lost at the start of this year. The track I used is based on a cover by an Irish country/western artist, hence the extra accordions!
