Hey Dusty! Nice flashback buddy. Buck Owens was a real country genius. I lived very close to Nashville when I was growing up and went to see the Opry many times...and Dolly and Buck was constantly on stage. |

I'm sure you are getting tired of my comments regarding some of the country artist I've met. I never met Mr. Owens, but we were rehearsing for a show when the owner of the show (a friend of Mr. Owens) received a telephone call from Mrs. Ownes telling him his friend had died. Wow, what a change there was in theater that afternoon. This is a favorite of mine of his...you've sung it excellently. |
Reply: Met both Roy Clark and Buck Owens when I was in Nashville years ago I was recording and they were playing the Grand ol Opry and staying at the opry hotel as was I. We sat and talked over diner it was great. learned a lot just listening to them. |
