I've always loved this song, but my voice is not low enough usually to get the lowest part, and if I change the key, then the background voices sound like mice. My voice is mostly back from my cold/sinus infection, but I still sing some lower notes, so I recorded it. Last week it was much lower. I was recording some low songs for fun with my phone last on a site called Smule. Try and do this using your best Elvis impersonation. It will get you close to the original and probably resolve the key issues with going that low. Use your throat voice instead of full voice. I enjoyed it just the same. |

A superb rendition, Suzanne. Yes, it is a pity that key changes would let sound the backings worse than in their original key. Only with MIDI backings this effect does not exist. MIDI backings do not sound so good and full normally though. |
