I'm not a 'techie' so I can't comment on my appreciation of your mix but one things for sure, this sounds SO professional and your vocals are outstanding! You rocked this my friend!! |
Reply: Hi Chris,
I took an instrumental track and sang the verses in one track. Then, when it came to the chorus's, I recorded two different vocals with upper and lower octave harmonies . It gave me the ability to give this a nice balance as I panned left and right between the two. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. How could we not enjoy some brand new Tom Petty! I was just listening to your Tom Petty post over yonder- didn't know he had a new release.. You sounded terrific on it in every way possible, from vocals, harmonies( liked that panning ) I just happened to come by here and saw you had it posted here as well..so I am glad you left this open for comments..
