I don't really critique but I thought I'd say I enjoyed listening to this very much. Being a Curtis Mayfield fan I know this song very well (you can hear Curtis singing backup in the Jerry Butler recording) but did not know the Tony Orlando/Dawn version other than the different title. One suggestion though, you may consider at the end of the song continuing to sing a capella beyond the fade until the end of the stanza/chorus, or even fade out the vocal track in time with the music track. Otherwise, superb! |
