Comment by: MJK (Total comments: 398  Submissions: 44) Mon, Oct 6th, 2014  You've certainly made some wonderful strides in your singing; I found this to be you at your very best. The high notes here worked fairly well--maybe just a touch of flatness in one of them, but it didn't hurt this at all; it sounded natural for the song and mood created. Your tone and delivery were really fine and I noticed now that you have a very nicely developed and well-used vibrato (and effected here mostly to end off a sustained note, which to me is the best use of it, unless it's for effect). Mix sounded clear and well balanced in the equalization. I did catch just a moment of "clipping" on the vocal (this usually happens when we are bit too close to the mic and putting out a lot of air/vibration), but it was very brief. If you know how to do it, I'd be curious to hear this again with a bit of reverb added to the vocal (for this kind of ballad it might work out even better; I find that with strings behind you, a little reverb is good!) Pretty singing! My only critique would be that sometimes the music is a bit louder than you are.
