MJK Oh #&$^#%@!! How I love when you do up a tune with that special attitude of yours; at one of your many zeniths here, bending those notes, belting them back--ah heck, you make one word sound like three sets of lyrics in their meaning. Outstanding production work--this was a real delight on the headphones, just awesome. I'm taking you let out those assorted shouts and hollers when that crummy neighbor across the way was out of town? Fantastic stuff, and how. Two enthusiastic thumbs up across the board Joyce, thanks so much!
Reply: Hey Michael.. Thanks so much and I made up my mind to scare away the neighbors and some strange intruders that have been lurking around recently.. It gets me so frightened sometime, that I behave just the opposite when I sing.. My next door neighbors are so loud themselves they don't hear me.. so yea, if I am sounding more tudey these days, it's my 'who cares anymore' attitude!! I truly appreciate your substantial and positive review!! Hope to hear more songs from you soon

SingyThingy I love the vibe on this, Joyce! You stayed true to the original vocal and spirit, yet still made it all you. This was awesome. Loving the weow! in the middle, too. Your voice is so flippin' versatile and cool!Very strong delivery, and I agree with Mark's critique all the way on this one!
Reply: Hi Singy.. Thanks for the listen and feedback.. Had to raise the key a little bit and added some fx to where I could feel it in the words.. the Doors never seemed to use fx.. Their music had an intensity of its own..I like fiddling around to make songs more visual.. Appreciate your visit

Mark Cheetah Hey Joyce! You told me you were working on this song, and I've been looking forward to hearing it. Whoa, you're showing some TREMENDOUS vocal strength here... I love it! This is rugged, solid, and wrought with emotion. I can detect traces of Jim Morrison in your voice; it's almost like you're "channeling" him. A very gutsy, strong, tight vocal performance; ain't NOTHIN' wimpy here! And the mix is fabulous, too; I like the delay effects. You set all the levels right, and it results in a pristine recording. VERY nicely done!!
Reply: Hey Mark.. Thanks for checking this out.. I have been told before on different Doors songs similar about channeling Morrison..kind of fun.. as long as I don't channel the rest of his habits!!!
