SingyThingy If I were to take Ozzy,Dio and the lead vocalist from Scorpions, put them in a blender and have a single vocalist come out, that vocalist would sound like you! Multi-talented, dude. I write, too, though in a different style, so I appreciate that side of music. All that and a musician, too, you got it all. This song is well crafted, too, and catchy. The faces look different part having a more ethereal sound really added interest. The lone voice crying in the wilderness probably sounded like the solo vox in the middle of this track.Did I mention I am impressed?
Reply: Thanks, Amy! Ya know, I'm a big fan of those three guys, so you're right on target. Some people say I sound a lot like Don Dokken (and I tend to agree). I wouldn't mind hearing some of your original stuff! Thanks for the props (and BTW, it's "places," not "faces") ;)

MJK Ladies and gents, while Mark and I come from somewhat different musical backgrounds, this is the man I always aspire to in terms of excellence in music--and he happens to be one of the nicest guys around too! Here's to you Mark for another truly fantastic work (most sincerely, you truly ARE amazing!) Michael
Reply: Hey Michael, it's great to see you over here... thanks for stopping by, my friend! I like the "ladies and gents" thing; that's your "inner emcee" talking. You're not just a great singer, you're a born leader! Thanks for the compliments... I truly appreciate them!

Connie Wow, I just was reading the comments and didn't even notice the "Karaoke Showcase". Mark, I don't think I've heard you sing this before, and you wrote it in 1993? Or just got the copyright recently? Very impressive singing, guitar playing and the mix. My ears are very happy! Good to have you back!
Reply: Hi Connie, thanks for asking! I wrote this song in 1993 when I was in a band; we used to play it out in the local bar scene. I copyrighted it that year, too... and it was released on our demo tape. I submitted a cassette copy to the Library of Congress as a Performing Arts Copyright, but the sound quality wasn't very good (even though Joey and Dan could blow me away on guitar and bass). I just got done playing it myself & submitted it as a Sound Recordings Copyright this year. Thanks very much!

tagacebu I was speechless on the previous sub as well as this one. But it's good to hear you rockin' again Mark.
Reply: Ah, so THAT'S why you didn't say anything on the other song... speechless? LOL! I'm not sure I deserve that... but I'll take it. :) Thanks very much... I was just listening to your rendition of "Tuesday Afternoon," and it's very nice! Well done!

Cantstopsinging A pleasure it is to have all your talents exposed in one song: not only as a singer and mixer master as the sites have come to know you in the past years as but also a writer & musician with equal fortitude.. oh and also Swiss Chocolatier..lolol.. I am glad to have had the privilege of getting the sneak peek listen of the package which combines all the elements of classic rock as it was meant to be-and you always give us a Grand Finale in your songs...:) I hope this song ignites a well needed flame to this site!!
Reply: Thanks, Joyce! Yeah, it'd be nice if this place got more traffic. I wonder why they changed it from "Singers Showcase" to "Karaoke Showcase;" people might think the site shut down when doing a search for SS. Plus, Karaoke Showcase sounds cheesy, lol. As always, I really appreciate your support, Joyce... I'm glad you liked this song enough to record it yourself; it's an honor!
