Original song's lead vocal by Johnny Rivers eliminated with Vogone software. This time, though, instead of singing at +3 key (using Keywrite software), I sing at -3 key. Result: I'm singing higher (octave up) and with more power than before (with octave down). Then I sang over my lead, adding to the background chorus and doubling the "Baby I need your loving" refrain. Anyhow, I'm much more satisfied with this version than the earlier one. And I love this song. Hope you do, too. Tomorrow, we're babysitting our two young grandsons, which is both fun and exhausting. It's great having these helpful possibilities. Using mp3 backings, +/- 3 semitones key shift seems to be the maximum for getting satisfiying results regarding the backing quality. This restriction doesn't exist using MIDI though. Have a great weekend too. Kara Reply: You're right about keychange software vs. MIDI.
