I would say you need to find the song on youtube and print out the lyrics, then really listen closely to the original song, many times, and then try singing along with it. Eventually you'll get it. I don't think you're tone deaf or anything like that. Sometimes really listening is a skill that you have to learn. Or sometimes you just don't want to put the time or energy into it. I don't know which it is with you.... I would say, if you want critique, if you really want to improve, then put more work into it :) It's not awful, just has wrong notes.
