Hey, Hoss! I appreciate your trying. I thought your other one was better, actually. I thought you got more of the notes with that one. I seem to recall that the only part I really didn't like was at the very beginning when you first sing "It's now or never" - it needs to be sung out much more. I can tell you're working hard and that's good! I've done that for many years myself. Working at it does help. If you really want to improve, you might want to look for a voice or singing teacher in your area. If there's a college near you, see if they have voice classes. Those can help so much and also be a lot of fun. I took them for years. The Other thing is to really learn to listen to yourself when you record and then where you think you need to improve. That's a big step right there. But hey, if you just want to sing in live karaoke, you are certainly good enough to do that, and the audience will give you much applause! Clap clap clap! Just sing with enthusiasm like you did here. |

I'm glad you took MJK(he is a pro) and Lady Suzannes advice. This sounds absolutely beautiful. I still thought your first version was wonderful, but I'm not one to critique anyones works. I use to sing in Las Vegas with Lady Debbie Reynold's many years ago and took much advice from her as well. But, due to an accident I had (look on my most recent song: To Love Somebody and you will know as to why I cannot sing like I use to. This was much better. Plus listening to songs before singing is the best advice they gave you. We all do it. But like MJK meant in six months or less re-sing it and I guarantee you will sound better and better. The more you learn and sing, you will get better n better. I was 14 yrs. old when I learned to sing. I, too listened to the songs many times before and got better and better with age. Then, I lost my voice after I was severely beaten up by an x b/f and x football player. Just go read what I wrote on my response to Lord Burnstrum.Love, DEE xox |

Much, much better Hoss! One thing about learning a song like the back of your hand is (in my opinion) it gets easier to sing. Thanks for taking my advice so well and for following through, again you did a nicer job here! I would save this recording and then say six months from now, record it again and compare the two; I think you will be pleasantly surprised how you've improved even more. Thanks for sharing this, Michael |
