This morning I plugged in an old Christmas present from my parents when I was 15 years old, 54 years ago, my Gibson Melody Maker electric guitar and I thought about the songs I learned and sang in my youth and "Your Cheat'n Heart" was the first song I ever learned and the second song I ever sang in public with a live band and of course we all tried to emulate Hank Williams, today and for a long time I sang this in my own way. There was no Karaoke back then, we learned by playing along with records. |
