I sang this at the Cathedral when I lost my 25 year old son, back in Dec. 3, 2011. Both my eldest son say he died on Dec. 2, however, I had the doctors put him on life support for we are organ donors and when his brain died on the 3rd of December 2011 at 1:23am, that's when they rushed him into surgery removing any organs, arteries, veins, eyes, skin grafts, they also removed his vertebrae, his pure heart of gold, and many other parts. For he helped eight recipients and we celebrated his funeral for he has done miracles for other people who needed these parts to survive. I gave him much praise for what he has done for everyone. Plus they all made it home for Christmas. We did hear from some recipients and this summer myself and Mike will be traveling to see these people and I simply cannot wait to see a 14 year old girl who received his heart. I thank you for listening to this as I sang this song, it was hard to do, but I kept thinking of how many people who do not want to be organ donors and that stayed in my mind the entire time I was singing also because of how proud of my son being an organ donor. It's already been two years since we lost our best friend and son,and Mike's buddy that they traveled many places after I bought them each a motorcycle and they did everything together. Yes, he's missed everyday, but I know he's in Paradise with his uncle, my brother who passed away at the age of 36 years old, eighteen years ago, and I'm sure my mom, Bryan's memere (mem for short) was there as well to greet him into the Heavens above. I was going to submit this song yesterday, but we had a funeral to attend. So many memories came flooded back. We are doing ok. But with Christmas coming, I know I will have a hard time.
