Well thanks to some amazing friends (you know who you are)I finally have been able to bag my "White Whale"!LOL...its funny this song took over 5 years to RECEIVE and only 5 minutes to ACHIEVE AND CONCEIVE :-). I have been a Moody Blues fan since I was a wee lil lad, thanks to my musical Mom. From the first time hearing this song (which was live front row at MSG in 1986) I've wanted to cover this song with the numerous bands throughout the decades. No matter how accomplished the keyboard players were in my past(and present)bands...none of them where able to play this song solo. So I thought perhaps it could easily be done in a studio by a solo keyboardist. I've asked 5 players in the past 5 years (some I know personally and are brilliant artists)but yet this song seemed to be my "Bermuda Triangle" because the artists and the mention of the song were never heard from again!LOL Thanks again my friends for helping me complete one of my "Bucket List" songs...LUV YA'S ROCK ON! |
