KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - DEE performs Fly on Karaoke Showcase - It's been about a week now that I've lost one of my dearest friends. I sang this at the Cathedral (that's why it has a lot of echo and cannot do anything about it)...It took all I had to sing this song. That's one song they had asked me to sing and I sing any song when asked, no matter what. I almost lost it a few times, of course looking at the family while singing. It brought many memories when singing at my son's funeral in December 2011 and hearing the loss of friends here. The news of her passing was shocking to say the least.I had just spoken to her earlier in the last few weeks, then I received a phone call that just took me back. I've been spending time with the family and our friends. She is the one that I sang with when I was just a kid, age 14. I'm still very much in shock. She will be missed dearly. I thought I'd share this with you. You hear the priests start praying as I thanked them and my condolences. I will submit another song that was more personal to me also that I sang to her about six months ago. I thank you for listening. I do believe there is a Heaven and that my dear friend is there with everyone else. This truly broke my heart in two. I'm trying to get over it, but it's very difficult for I truly trusted in my dearest friend. There will never be anyone like my friend to whom I poured my heart out to her. I know and feel everything I've ever told her went with her. Fly, fly my little one. Love, DEExoxoxo~~@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@~~
