KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Rangerover performs Honky Tonk Heroes on Karaoke Showcase - Love dancing to this song as well as singing it. Waylon Jennings a true outlaw from Texas, got the name "outlaw" he and Willy Nelson were outlawed from performing in the Grand Ole Opry back when drums were not allowed to be used, hard to believe that fact. He teamed up outlaw legends Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson to record and tour as The Highwaymen. He wasn't too popular with the Rock and Roll circuit by appealed to the country folk. How ironic he wound up with the "crickets", Buddy Holly's band. He also was quite particular with company he kept and even refused to appear on certain shows or even to appear at Country Music awards and ceremonies. He was bigger than life itself. He will always be one of my favorite singers. I've been to many of his shows.
