KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - DEE performs Erase / Rewind on Karaoke Showcase - Here is a group from Sweden and have captured much attention way back in 1998 in which comes from their album-Grand Turismo...and on that note, they also sang this one for a PS2-Playstation2-video game. This song was on it. These guys and gal were living in a small apartment-and sang at local venues. In the audience was a record producer. After their gig was done, this guy walked up to them, introduced himself, and they talked for hours. He told them that one day soon, you'll all have your own homes to live in. They put his trust in him and low and behold-artists were all reborn. This is a 'space age' song and I just love it.From Wikipedia:"Erase/Rewind" is a pop rock song written by Peter Svensson and Nina Persson for The Cardigans' 1998 album Gran Turismo. The song is the album's second track, and was released as its second single. It was also featured in The Thirteenth Floor during the ending credits. The music video, which features science-fiction references to Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey, was directed by Swedish director Adam Berg.Too make a long story short (well you know me by now-Lol)-We did this song on the top floor of a huge parking garage that we rented it out. As soon as we began, we noticed the weather change just like that. So, everyone and us went down under-the fourth floor. Lol. I'm Lol because I did submit here about five years ago, and this one guy, who isn't here any longer, he said 'wow man Dee, I'd love to see you doing a concert with Byork. I Laughed so much. His words were lllllllooooovvvvvveeeeeeedddddd this one DEE,you're so creative and just love your stuff'. He listened to every song I did and we became friends off of this site, told him my story and found out he was a record producer as well. I don't hear too much from him any longer. But, that's ok with me, because I'm still thinking of him and smiling. I hope you enjoy this one-as I've said...this came out as a 'space age song' I've never forgotten where my roots began, as a teenager, sang with a neighbor that had her own band, and she took me under her wings, then in Las Vegas as well. Hope you all have a great day and night. Love, DEExoxoxo~~@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@~~
