I have absolutely no clue who the original singer is. Shirley Horn, Dusty Springfield, Nancy Wilson, and Dinah Washington all have wonderful versions of this Dave Frishberg penned classic. The arrangment I'm using here is from Diana Krall's 1997 album, Love Scenes. It sounds like this was recorded back when my allergies and I were more or less at war with one another, I could be wrong, though. Thanks so much for taking a listen. ~Jon |
