Hello everyone, here is an oldie from the 70's that I just love and sang this at my club I use to sing at a couple years ago--There were some college kids that night and thought this song was done from the movie, 'You, me, and Depree', I just couldn't stop laughing at them. We sure had a very 'wild night'.You will notice a pause at the end- I removed what I had said, a naughty joke then I just added the ending about fooling around and said something about this evening, 'you're going to have a wild night tonight with me and you're all in trouble now when I'm in this type of mood'. I couldn't stop laughing as well as the audience all laughed and clapped, it lasted about five minutes. I did say more jokes after, which I didn't put on the song. Someone had given me a drink from the bar, (Josh had put more vodka then normal-without me knowing) he passed it to me up on the stage and I was thirsty, so I drank it fast, then it hit me, he had given me a 'White Russian', Mmmm was delicious and I don't drink, so it hit me fast and laughed all night. I had them laughing all night , plus I couldn't stop sweating under those bright lights we had installed a few nights before I sang. It was a fun night with my sons also. They kept clapping while I was whipping out more naughty jokes. Ok, from Wikipedia:The Three Degrees are an American female vocal group, formed in 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1] The group has always been a trio, although there have been a number of personnel changes and a total of fifteen women have represented the group so far. The original members were Fayette Pinkney, Shirley Porter and Linda Turner. The most successful line-up was Fayette with Sheila Ferguson and Valerie Holiday, these three being responsible for recording the 1974 single "When Will I See You Again", which was a huge international hit, peaking at #2 in the US and topping the UK Singles Chart.[2]-- I thank you for reading and hope you enjoy my drunken stupor and this song...My sons couldn't stop laughing at me neither. One drink and all I do is laugh my arse off. Thank you for listening and will listen to your songs asap. I will try to be back here tomorrow, however, I have three doctor's appts. A very busy day ahead for me. I get to see the eye surgeon who messed up my eyes. I'll see (Lol-no pun intended) if he says anything. I did find another eye surgeon and told me it's not too late for them to be fixed the right way...Sending all of my love to all of you !~Love, DEExoxoxo~~@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@~~ |
