It doesn't have the background singers at all, but that was helpful because I had to really raise the key to sing it (I still had trouble with a couple of the low notes). But it's such a beautiful song.... The other thing that's weird is that they completely changed the rhythm on the part "But we're alone now"... but that was ok, too, made it much easier to sing...but also kind of ruins the song in a way. I urge you to go listen to the original on youtube as well as the many other covers. I love Carpenters songs but this one I didn't hear growing up.
