I recently learned this Heart song. I like the challenge, especially singing the chorus. The backup singer on the chorus is too loud, but the music overall is pretty good. On some parts, I didn't sing it exactly like the original, just need to go over those to get it right. Won't mind doing that since I enjoy singing this so much. Love the music of Heart, and I'm glad you chose this song! You can really sing this kind of genre well. This is fantastic, Connie! Everything about it. Wish I could belt out high notes like that! You sound amazing...you always do. :) |

Yay! I have been looking forward to your Heart tune since you said you were going to submit one. Great choice,and you definitely nailed it vocally. I like that you didn't do an exact copy of the original vocal. It sounds just as good as a note-for-note copy, IMO, but more interesting to listen when a cover song's got some creative choices going on in it. Have you ever sung anything by Blondie? Your voice sounds similar to Debbie Harry's at the start of this, and I mean that as a huuuuge compliment :) |
