Kathy is a big Kid Rock fan, and she talked me into doing this song. In the past, I was never particularly fond of Kid Rock's music because of the hardcore Rap stuff he's done... but this song is straight up Rock & Roll! The guy has talent; he's performed a very diverse set of musical genres throughout his career. This song kinda reminds me of something Bob Seger would do. I'm glad Kathy suggested it, because I think it fits my style well. Thanks for the encouragement, Hon! And thanks to anyone who listens... Happy Metal Monday! |
