KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - Keepinitcntry performs Wishing Well on Karaoke Showcase - FREE is a British rock band that formed in 1968 while band members were at a young age. Bass player Frasier was only 15. Guitarist Paul Kossoff was only 17. Simon Kirke at drums was 19 and of coarse the sound of Paul Rogers as lead vocalist and some keyboards was also only 19. "Wishing Well" was released as a single on their 1972 album Heartbreaker which proved to be the bands last, because in 1973, Paul Rogers and Kirke now both at ages of 23, went on to form the more popular band "Bad Company". Also note that the most successful of the original bands hits was "All Right Now". I chose to work on "Wishing Well" because it's one of their songs that didn't get enough credit and people tend to forget of it's sound from a group of talented young men. Rock on folks. Thanks for listening.
