We gave a three hour concert, and I have two friends that own a catering business, three friends (one of them a toy store) the other's work at dept. stores, I buy everything, and also give everyone gifts, from age being an infant to 90's and on, I do this because I feel it's my call of duty. My sons and I always bring a lot of food and gifts for the less fortunate, and not only oh Holiday's, I do this from the kindness of our hearts. but I lost my 25 yr. old son in Dec.,2,2011, now Mikey and I do this. I even help my own family. I thank God for the many musician and regular buddies I have in my life. So, I'm suppose to sing for the troops that will arrive tomorrow and I know I may lose it, I always do. But, my band is off early morning to give an out door concert by the ocean in which we sing and many other groups from Maine, NH, Rhode Island, Harpswell and many other places. We pray that the weather will not interfer. We always have a 'Festival By The Sea' at the end of August at the mansion(without windows, if it rains), and outdoors in Harpswell...Cannot wait for that !!!~ With all that being said, I sang this last night at the Cathedral for Vets and families, including for my special, best 83 yr. old friend, my daddy for he served in the war in Germany and other places~He's still going and what I miss the most that he cannot dance anymore with me. I use to get on his feet when I was a child and always danced with me. As I grew older, I learned how to ballroom dance and was able to teach dancing and it was so beautiful that I thank God I was born (was an accident-Lol)and taught my own parents, just that, is the most beautiful thing I've done for them. it brought them closer to one another...I thank you and May God Bless You All.
