Suzanne Lanoue Started a little weird-sounding but got better. I think the word "turning" may be the problem. Just open your mouth more there and it should help. It was mostly fine after that...
Reply: I thought that I opened my mouth wide open right throughout the song Suzanne...otherwise I would not have been able to sing it properly

syberchick70 You actually sound pretty close to EH on this song. You have the same type of languid, relaxed vocals. My only suggestion for improvement is that you're vocals have a tendency to run maybe half a tone (or maybe less) to the flat side on this piece, not all the way through, some of it you're right where you're supposed to be, but it's just something to pay attention to if you're looking for ways to improve it. I'm guessing most folks aren't even going to hear that. :) Overall though, nice song choice and I did enjoy my listen. Thanks!
Reply: Thank You. No I do not think so...EH had a distinctive voice....more powerful than anything else. This is why I do all his songs either "one down"...or even "two down".....so I'll get power in those high notes. This is nothing new as even professional singers manipulate songs to suite their voice range. One of the toughest EH song to sing of course is Release Me where it goes up a couple of keys towards the end. Elvis had a version which was easier to sing as it had no key changes
